Senior Portraits:

  • Senior Portraits are due to the Yearbook Staff on or before October 14th. They should be placed in the yearbook mailbox in F-24 at the High School. If you are sending your Senior Portrait in digitally (on CD or Email), please make sure that your portrait meets the minimum specifications concerning resolution and size. If it does not, it will not be placed in the yearbook. This is because the overall quality of the Yearbook is very important to us, and we do not feel that it would be fair to everyone else in the book to include an image that is of poor quality.
  • You can have your Senior Portraits taken anywhere as long as they conform to the specifications we have already given. We do not recommend, nor will we ever endorse any specific studios. We want to make sure that everyone is free to choose their own portrait studio. You may also have a friend or a family member take your portrait, as long as it still conforms to the needed specifications.
  • It's so important that the senior portraits are done so early because it the first section we have to turn in. Our first due date for the cover and first 30+ pages is usually the first monday in November. this gives us just a few weeks to organize all of the portraits and the quotes, check over everything, and get everything placed onto the pages. So even having a due date as early as the first week in October doesn't give us too much time to do everything that needs to be done.
  • It is for all of the above resons that you may not turn in your senior portrait after the due date. With over 400 seniors in this years class, we must have all the time possible. The more time we get, the better the yearbook looks for everyone!

    Senior Quotes:

  • The due date for the Senior Quotes is the same as the dues date for the Senior Portraits: October 14, 2008. Adhering to this due date is extremely important because the senior quotes need to be ready for our first dues date just like the Senior Portraits.

  • You need to submit your Senior Quote using the input form on the senior quote page. Go to the Seniors Page and click on "Senior Quotes."
  • No you may NOT submit your senior quote after the dealine. As was stated for the same question concerning the Senior Portraits, the Yearbook staff needs all the time it can get to create the pages for the Seniors Section. Because of this, we need all of the quotes in by October 14th.

    Senior Superlatives

  • The Senior Superlatives will be voted on a date to be determined. Voting forms will be available in the commons, as well as online. Students will need to place the voting form in the Yearbook mailbox in F-24 by the end of the due date.
  • The Yearbook Club will tally the votes right after the vote, and contact the winners and schedule a time when they can be photographed.

    Sibling Photographs

  • Sibling Photos are for Seniors who have a younger sibling attending PHS as well. We will be taking photos from October 14th through October 31st. You may also submit a picture of the siblings when they were young children and it will also be included in this section. Please submit these pictures in an envelope with the names of the siblings, and a self-addressed, stamped envelope so that we can return your photo.
  • Only students who are actually siblings may have their pictures taken for this section of the yearbook. We have had students in the past attempt to fool the yearbook staff and have their photographs taken when they were in fact not related at all. If any students do attempt this, there will be disciplinary consequences. While we do not want to overly strict or mean about this, we also recognize the need for fairness in this matter, so we cannot allow any students who are not siblings to participate in these photographs.

    Baby Ads

  • The Baby Ads section is where the parents and friends of seniors can purchase space in the Yearbook to send their senior a special message and include a photograph of them as a baby. These ads really help us keep the cost of the Yearbook down to a reasonable level, and they are also one of the most looked at sections of the entire Yearbook!
  • The cost of a Baby Ad depends on the size of the ad itself. Prices are still to be determined.
  • You can order a Baby ad from Thanksgiving Break until Winter Break
  • The money from the sale of the Baby Ads is used to make the Yearbook cost a little bit less for everyone. Without the sale of these ads, we would have to charge a lot more for each Yearbook.

    Underclassmen Portraits:

  • We use the portraits taken for the student I.D.s for the underclassmen portraits sections, so we do not need anyone to send in anything for the underclassman portraits. If you have not had an I.D. picture taken, then you will not have a picture in the Yearbook unless you get one taken.
